Features
Quantities update the moment goods move, so the figure on the screen is the figure on the rack. Batch, expiry and serial data travel with the item from receipt to sale.
Map aisles, racks and bins, then let the system route put-away and picking. Branch transfers keep stock in transit visible to both ends of the move.
Consumption, lead time and minimum order quantity produce a suggested order your buyer approves in one screen. Landed cost is calculated as the delivery is booked in.
FIFO or weighted-average valuation, turnover, margin and dead-stock reports, scheduled to arrive by email the morning after month end.
Testimonials
Before Softpress we counted three warehouses by hand every Friday. Now stock levels, incoming supplier orders and till sales reconcile themselves overnight. Shrinkage dropped by a third in the first six months and our buyers finally trust the numbers they order against.
The suggested purchase orders alone paid for the licence. We stopped ordering pallets we already had in aisle four.
Migration took four days including our 41,000 article numbers. Support answered in German, which mattered to our warehouse team.
We run eleven market locations on a single Softpress tenant. Transfers between stores take seconds, barcode labels print straight from the purchase order, and the forecasting report tells us what to reorder before a gap appears on the shelf. Rollout to a new store now takes us two days instead of two weeks.

Softpress runs in the browser and speaks to standard Android and Windows handheld scanners, plus common thermal label printers. For tills we provide our own POS screen or an API/webhook link to the system you already use.

Yes. We import item master data, suppliers, customers, barcodes and opening balances from CSV or directly from most ERP and shop systems. A typical migration takes between three days and three weeks depending on data quality.
All production data is held in data centres inside the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest, with daily backups retained for 30 days. Softpress acts as a data processor under Art. 28 GDPR and a Data Processing Agreement is available to every customer.
Every plan includes email support in German and English during business hours. Business plans add a four-hour response target; Enterprise adds a named contact, phone support and an agreed service level with defined uptime.
